Analysis
Hartman, a former star of Netflix’s “QB1”, is a former 3 star QB recruit for the Demon Deacons. Hartman is a mixed bag as a prospect. On one hand, Hartman is a charismatic leader who brings composure and toughness to the QB position for Wake Forest. On the other, he’s a prospect who struggles with ball placement and is severely limited by his physical tools. Hartman has the mindset of a gunslinger and thrives on crossers over the middle and play action passes. He needs to clean up some of his decision making, both throwing and pocket management. Hartman is incredibly tough athlete but he can’t afford to take the hits that he currently does at the next level. Hartman is a fun collegiate player, but he has a lot of work to do before he has success at the pro level.
