Analysis
Charbonnet, the former Michigan transfer, burst onto the scene at UCLA this past year in Chip Kelly’s offense. Charbonnet displayed great vision and burst during his 2021 season as he rumbled forward for 1,137 yards and 13 TDs. He is a powerful runner who has great vision, burst, and contact balance. There are some questions in the passing game because of how little UCLA used him on passing downs. I feel like Charbonnet would thrive early in a zone blocking scheme that would maximize his talents. For teams with an established pass catching back already on the roster, Charbonnet could be a nice complementary piece in a rotational backfield.
